The filmmakers’ approach in the Middle East region has changed, recently, regarding genre cinema. It is no longer associated only with commercial films or mainstream Hollywood films. Dahshur Workshops is opening the call for applications to “Make the most important 3 minute film in your life” with Karin Westerlund, The workshop concept is a film residency in Dahshur for 10 Egyptian filmmakers or visual artists who will work on a personal topic and produce a 3 minute film. This residency program is for 10 days from September 23rd to October 2nd, 2021
