In partnership with the DROSOS FOUNDATION, the Dahshur Residency aims to empower Egypt’s emerging filmmakers and artists by providing immersive training, mentorship, and industry exposure. This initiative, located near the pyramids of Dahshur, offers a unique space for creatives to cultivate their talents and launch successful careers in film and media.
The Finance Officer will play a pivotal role in the Dahshur Residency project by establishing and managing all financial aspects. Responsible for setting up accounts, developing budgets, and overseeing financial operations, the Finance Officer will ensure the effective financial management of the project, contributing to its success and sustainability.
- Set up and maintain financial systems and procedures for the project
- Develop and monitor project budgets in alignment with program goals
- Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with funding requirements
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and resource allocation
- Manage cash flow, payments, and financial transactions
- Collaborate with external auditors for financial audits and compliance checks
- Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar roles in the NGOs sector
- Proven experience in working with governmental agencies such as MOSS and audit related missions
- Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial softwares and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
