In collaboration with DROSOS FOUNDATION, the Dahshur Residency empowers Egypt’s next generation of filmmakers and artists. Through immersive training, mentorship, and industry exposure, young creatives—especially women and youth from underserved communities—develop sustainable careers in film and media.
This initiative near the pyramids of Dahshur provides a full-immersion residency program for creatives to live, learn, and launch their artistic journeys. Founded by Marianne Khoury, the Dahshur residency bridges various artistic traditions in film, music, sound, and culture, equipping participants with the skills to flourish as creative artists.
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and impact of the Dahshur Residency program. She/He will be responsible for monitoring project activities, evaluating outcomes, and providing data-driven insights to enhance the program’s success. This position is essential for maintaining accountability, improving program quality, and demonstrating the program’s impact to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation tools and frameworks
- Monitor project activities and track progress towards objectives
- Collect and analyze data to assess program performance
- Prepare reports on findings and recommendations for program improvement
- Conduct evaluations to measure the impact of the program on participants
- Support capacity building activities related to monitoring and evaluation
- Ensure compliance with monitoring and evaluation standards and best practices
- Collect regular and relevant stories of change reflecting qualitative impact of the project
- Detail-oriented and analytical
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation in similar projects
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Proficient in monitoring and evaluation methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Passionate about using data to drive programmatic impact
- Strong Experience of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods
- Experience working with education program
